Mystic Aquarium and Springfield College are partnering to bring a summer full of fun learning adventures to the Springfield College campus.  Our camps deliver exciting activities, up-close animal encounters, field trips and other sensational experiences for children entering grades 2-12.

Water is Life:  Think Blue! Entering Grades 2-5  Filling Up Fast!!!
Dates:  July 15-19; July 29-August 2
Explore unique watery worlds and the animals that thrive in our wondrous ocean! Engage in exciting activities and enjoy playing creative games while learning about many different animals, their special adaptations an how they survive in the ocean realm. We'll meet for close-u[ sessions with animals from Mystic Aquarium and we'll venture out in nature on field trips to fabulous local attractions.
Mystic Aquarium's Spectacular Species Entering grades 6-8
Dates: July 8-11, July 22-25
Embark on a journey to investigate spectacular exotic animals and their unique environments including freshwater habitats, vibrant estuaries and the mysterious open ocean. We'll explore animal hot spots around Springfield and then depart on a fun-filled overnight expedition to study the Connecticut coast, Long Island Sound an Mystic Aquarium. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour around the world! Note: Drop off and pick-up will occur at Springfield College. The group will travel together to and from Mystic Aquarium in Southeastern Connecticut.
Marine Conservation in Action! Entering grades 9-12
July 8 -11; August 5-8
Participate in the progress of marine conservation experts in the action packed camp, split between interesting sites around Springfield and along the Connecticut coast. This immersive program features up close animal encounters and rare opportunities to meet with exotic animal caregivers and rescue staff. In our overnight expedition to Long Island Sound and Mystic Aquarium, we'll examine case studies of unique ecosystems and animals including belugas seals and penguins. Sleep among the indoor habitats with unique species and enjoy a special  behind-the-scenes tour. Note: Drop-off and pick up will occur at Springfield College. The group will travel together by bus to and from Mystic Aquarium in Southeastern Connecticut.
